Healing Sound is the umbrella for the work of Sheila Whittaker, teacher & practitioner of Chant/mantra, Sound Healing & Gong therapy, & traditional Reiki Master.

Sheila's background in classical music has enabled her to develop unique workshops to teach both Chant/mantra & Harmonium as part of her work with sound & music.

As a tutor for the College of Sound Healing she facilitates the "Sound Healing with Gongs" workshop, which has been attended by Sound Healers & Kundalini Yoga teachers who wish to learn & perfect their gonging techniques, & by those who are drawn to use this powerful healing instrument in their work or for meditation.

Sheila runs a private therapy practise from her home in the Brighton area, gives regular workshops & a group gong therapy session, & performs at concerts & events as time allows.

She has recorded three CD’s, with more to follow in due course. She is also a member of Brighton-based east-west band Indigo Eye, & leads the Jayadeva Chanting Ensemble.
