Courage
Courage rises up from within when we have
confidence in ourselves and we completely trust in our judgements and our
lives.
Courage falters when we doubt ourselves, doubt
others, or doubt in the path of our life.
Courage is part motivation and part of adopted the 'I can and I will'
attitude of determination.
- We gain courage by seeking resolution to our doubts and
fears.
- We gain
courage by feeling safe with our surroundings.
- We gain courage when we are
informed of possibilities.
- We gain courage when we truly listen to where our heart pulls us to.
Emotional Courage
Emotional courage is the ability to face fears, painful emotional and
physical situations, dangerous situations, uncertainty and intimidation.
To find courage within us, means we have to seek a true understanding
of our motives within ourselves. This understanding has to embody a
KNOWING that regardless, you WILL see things through.
It could be that your courage falters in face of your fears, and you
know you must over come your fears to achieve the things you want to
achieve.
It could be that your courage falters because you are not completely
sure.
Even when we step blind into the unknown, courage comes from knowing
completely that you have to leave the point you are currently stood in; in
order to find better.
Trust
We have to find some trust in ourselves and our judgements in order to
be courageous. We have to find belief in our cause.
That what you are about to embark on is for the greatest of good,
either for yourself or for those around you.
A Supporting Hand
Sometimes when our courage falters, it helps to have a trusted friend
or loved one close to hand. To be there for you, with you - to act like
your personal cheerleader.
Someone who wants to either be there for you, or whom wishes to
experience similar in their lives. Having someone else standing by your
side can help you find your own courage, through reassurance.
If you feel alone, or if you feel you can't have support on your
journey, then the courage can rise up within you by reaffirming that you
are doing this FOR YOU.
Do it for yourself.
Feel pride in your choices. Imagine how you will feel once you have
achieved that which you want to achieve. The pride of having found the
courage, the positive changes that will be in place because of your
courage. Do it for YOU.
